Yet another amazing print from the Ford Times series of serigraph prints. This one is titled Wood Thrushes and dates from the article “American Bird Census” in a 1960 edition of the Ford Times magazine. These melodious thrushes are forest floor inhabitants and always a joy to encounter. The presentation is with beautifully color-coordinated triple matting in a gold-tone metal frame. The print is signed in the plate, albeit a bit hard to see. Overall a fine copy with one minor burnish mark at the top center of the plate (see photos). Ready to hang on the wall.
