We are excited to report that Springfield Township in Hamilton County, OH will be displaying an assortment of Spring time images illustrated by Charley Harper in the next few weeks.
Charley Harper, who died in 2007, was a Cincinnati-based American Modernist artist. He lived in Springfield Township with his wife Edie and son Brett for nearly 50 years.
I have linked to the signed serigraphs (from the exposition) that we have in-stock.

The banners were set for installation March 21. The Spring images include “Blue Skies Butterflies” “Cardinal With Seed,” “Once Upon A Pond,” “Once There Was A Field,” “Savoring Sycamore,” “Cardinal Cradle,” “Bug That Bugs Nobody,” and “Foxsimilies.”

Vibrant, stylized cardinals, an iconic Charley Harper image known as “Cardinal with a Seed,” will be one of eight of the Springfield Township artist’s designs lining the Winton Road business district of Springfield Township in Finneytown starting March 21.
“The banners reflect the art of Springfield Township’s most nationally recognized artists,” said Kimberlee Flamm, chairperson of ArtsConnect, Springfield Township. ArtsConnect is nonprofit organization set up by Springfield Township to enhance the quality of life for township residents through the arts, community events and parks and recreation.
“The banner poles were installed along the Winton Road streetscape to draw attention to the township’s business district,” Flamm said.
