“At nesting time, the daddy Wood Thrush vocalizes his territorial claim, and the census taker assumes that he speaks for one Wood Thrush family. By employing this song-counting technique to survey other species, the Breeding-Bird Census has produced these birds-per-acre averages: 9.4 in marshes, 4 in deciduous woodÂland, 2.25 in farm country, 0 in Bonneville Flats, Utah.” – Charley Harper
An excellent opportunity!  Here is the ‘Ford Times’ image of Wood Thrushes in a vintage frame, ready to hang on the wall. This vintage presentation is visually appealing. A pair of thrushes shares the stage with a springtime flower – the Jack-in-the-pulpit! Dual mats – coarse-weave fabric over black mats – really set off the image in a dual tone gilt and dark wood frame. Some knicks and scratches to the frame consistent with age.  Image very good.  Charley’s signature prominently displayed in the plate.  Overall a nice copy.
